PG DIPLOMA PROGRAM IN FILM MAKING & DIRECTION

 

Two-Year Students learn the fundamentals of visual  and dramatic storytelling  through the production of a series of short films in year one, as outlined in the One - Year Film making Program.  Then they build on this foundation in the second year as they focus on feature film making as well as music video and commercial production.  Students receive over 2,000 hours of hands-on instruction & actual production experience. Students will complete the Two-Year program having made short films,music videos,commercials & documentaries.

 

Students work with "RED Digital Cinema Camera" and "Blackmagic 4k Cinema Production Camera" as well as DSLRs and DSLMs in both year one and year two. They will work with an array of production departments like Direction, Screenplay,Cinematography, Film Editing & Sound Design. They have the option of shooting their final projects for the first year, as well as their second year films, on the format of their choice.

DIPLOMA PROGRAM IN FILM MAKING & DIRECTION

One-Year Film-making diploma gives students the all-around film-making experience necessary to make their own films. The year is divided into two semesters with one to two weeks of vacation, depending on the start date. Students in the program receive over 1,000 hours of hands-on instruction and actual production experience. The curriculum integrates intensive study in all the major film-making disciplines including directing, screen writing, cinematography, sound design, and editing. They all write, shoot & direct Five projects. They shoot projects in HD, FHD, UHD and 4K formats. All projects are edited digitally.

 

No previous film making experience is required. However, participants must work with self-discipline, energy and mutual respect.Film directing classes are not theoretical explorations; there are practical workshops designed to put students in the director's chair as quickly as possible.
